Hello, I'm Yvonne, and I'm excited to share my unique twists and turns of my life's journey with you. My roots lie in Frankfurt, Germany, but the enchanting landscapes of Switzerland became my childhood home, thanks to my Swiss mother. The final year of school led me to a girls' boarding school in French-speaking Switzerland, a chapter that added richness to my experiences.
At the age of 16, my life took an unexpected turn. I crossed paths with a film industry agent outside my mother's office in Geneva, sparking a transformative moment. This encounter opened doors to an international modelling career that allowed me to explore the world. Despite the allure of the fashion industry, I sensed it wasn't my true calling; my dreams and aspirations lay elsewhere.
Twenty-four years ago, armed with courage, I made a life-changing decision. Alongside my boyfriend and four-year-old daughter, I embarked on a journey to Costa Rica. Pioneering work in a new country brought both opportunities and challenges, and sadly, strained my long-standing relationship. With my daughter by my side, I built a haven a boutique hotel on the pristine beaches of Costa Rica, a venture that spanned 18 years. The journey unfolded with its share of highs and lows, revealing the continuous potential for growth in the face of life's uncertainties. A few years ago, I sold the hotel and embarked on a profound personal development journey. This experience enriched my life, broadening my consciousness. Now, the time has come to fulfil a long-cherished heart's desire that has been patiently waiting within me.

Greetings, I'm Birgit, and I'm excited to share a glimpse of my life with you. Born in Aachen, Germany, I grew up there, pursuing my education to become a physiotherapist. The next chapter led me to Upper Bavaria, where I built a family with my husband and cherished two wonderful children—a boy and a girl. Simultaneously, I worked as a physiotherapist in a clinic and ran my own practice. It was a dynamic period, and every moment spent helping others brought me immense joy. In addition to my physiotherapy career, I discovered a newfound passion for teaching. Witnessing people of all ages engage in activities like mother-child gymnastics, senior sports, and unique ventures such as Drums Alive (drumming on Pezzi balls), aqua jogging, and aqua aerobics, was incredibly rewarding. Watching my students grow and find enjoyment in these pursuits was deeply fulfilling. However, life took an unexpected turn, marked by a challenging divorce. In response, I decided to take a break from everything and embarked on a journey to Costa Rica. Initially driven by a desire to escape winter, little did I know that this trip would be a transformative experience. The beauty and laid-back lifestyle of Costa Rica captivated me from the moment I arrived. Every winter, I extended my stay, drawn by the peace and warmth of this remarkable country. In Jaco, I stumbled upon my true calling—offering holistic massages. There's something magical about using my hands to help people find balance and relaxation. Witnessing the happiness and satisfaction of my clients fills me with profound joy.I am grateful to have discovered my place in Costa Rica, where I can live out my passion for holistic healing amidst breathtaking nature and a vibrant culture. This journey has taught me to embrace change, find beauty in every moment, and follow the desires of my heart.

I was born and raised in Konstanz, Germany, left school at 17 and opened my own gym when I was 20. (Fun fact: I read books to educate myself and went to libraries for research - NO computers, no Google at the time.) At the age of 20 I started taking part in bodybuilding competitions, became German champion, European champion, world champion and finally professional bodybuilder and competed at the highest level of the sport at Ms. Olympia. After retiring from competing, I became a judge in bodybuilding competitions for many years. In 1997, I moved to Florida and became a successful personal trainer with my business, Body Management. I opened other businesses: an inline skating and stand-up paddle boarding school and was a coach for the nutrition and fitness industry. Some health problems made me look at life differently, so I decided to take it easy and enjoy life more instead of working 8-10 hours a day. I stopped chasing the next Louis Vuitton bag, Rolex watch, and designer clothes and started exploring nature more. Pura Vida - that was my motivation to move to Costa Rica in 2018. My husband received a job offer to move to Nicaragua, Panama or Costa Rica. We chose Costa Rica because it is so relaxed, has a good economy and no army. The people here are super friendly and the cost of living is very affordable. Fruits and vegetables that I had never seen or heard of before are plentiful and cheap. Of course, I took my fitness and workout lifestyle with me. I know the benefits of living a healthy life, taking care of my body and helping others achieve their goals. Today I am here on a mission to improve your body, increase your motivation and increase your awareness of healthy living and nutrition. In each class I will teach you how to improve your balance, strength, core and flexibility. And most important of all – we have FUN!
